Blessed are those whose strength is in you...They go from strength to strength.
Psalm 85: 5, 7
Psalm 85:5-7 refers to the journey the Israelites made through a barren valley to the temple of God. Their strength was in God, but how did they manage to get through the barren land? Verse 7 is the answer. It applies to us as well. How can we get through our barren valley of trials and difficulties? Verse 7 is the answer: “They go from strength to strength.” As you go through your barren valley look back at your last strength and also look toward your next strength – it will come. You will make it through your valley from strength to strength. I just know it.
