BE OF GOOD CHEER!
Hello dear readers! BE OF GOOD CHEER is a message from
God and His timing is perfect! I actually wrote this over a week ago but
never seemed to be able to post it. I was getting frustrated
with myself that I had not put a new post up lately. I just could not
be totally satisfied with my
words. I felt it was not conveying this message with enough
exuberance. So I just kept listening for God to give me the excitement
needed. And sure enough it has arrived today!
God's timing is
so perfect! I love when I get to see it firsthand. This message telling us to be
of good cheer could not come on a better day, the day after Easter
Sunday. We just celebrated what Jesus did for us. He saved
us! It is fresh on our minds. God planned this for this week
because it will be easier than ever to accept it and use it.
This is our verse to focus on
this week. We have words from Jesus, our Savior!
John
16:33 (KJV)
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Did you know you can choose to be of good cheer? Despite your circumstances good or bad you can choose to be of good cheer. What a fantastic revelation God just gave us! I never paid much attention to that verse or that command by God. To Be of good cheer is easier than you think. Jesus spoke to the disciples before he left earth and told them they would have tribulations and trouble but to be of good cheer. With Easter still in our thoughts it is a breeze to be of good cheer because Jesus did overcome the world! He did!
Let me start by telling you what good cheer means to Jesus. To be of good cheer is beyond being happy or even pretending to be happy. It means to rejoice! To exude happiness in praise. No matter your circumstances. You have eternal life!!
Do you know if you simply say “I am of good cheer” can make you of good cheer. To say those words will change your outlook. It will change your attitude. It will change your mood. It will change your life. Once you start saying these words instead of what you normally say will make you of good cheer and want to rejoice, shout, and exude happiness no matter what you are dealing with in everyday life. Seriously! You know God's words are powerful and meaningful. You know we should speak the Word of God over our circumstances. You know these things. So I don't have to convince you of the power of our tongues. Today we have a set of words to use from Jesus. Maybe it is a new set of words for us. It is for me! I love it!
Instead of saying I am tired,
I am stressed,
I am overwhelmed,
I am struggling,
I am sad,
I am done,
I am mad,
I am disappointed,
I am hurt,
I am grouchy,
I am frustrated,
I am disgusted,
I am annoyed,
I am lonely,
I am miserable,
I am broke,
I am exhausted,
I am ugly,
I am fat,
I am out of shape,
I am old...
Say "I AM OF GOOD
CHEER!" "JESUS HAS OVERCOME THE WORLD!"
Keep reading to the end of this
message from God. You can change your
life with the right words. We women are hard on ourselves very often. Just
listen to your words for one day and you may say one of these statements or
something negative about yourself. Just what if you said something new.
Something amazing could happen. And all you have to say throughout the day is "I
am of good cheer." This is easy girls!
You wonderful ladies are of good
cheer. I will declare it for you! I declare it right now! Anyone reading this right now is of good
cheer whether you feel it or not. You
may not feel of good cheer but have you said it aloud? Have you declared it to God? Have you expressed it to God to give him
thanks for your eternal life? Have you
declared it to the earth? Have you
declared it to Satan? Have you declared
it to the angels so they can take action on your behalf? Have you declared it
to your family and friends so they know you mean business with your faith?
I doubt many of us have spoken
“ I am of good cheer.” I have not until
now. What a amazing revelation God is
giving us. We know the Word of God can
change our lives. With Easter still in
our hearts and minds we can be of good cheer.
Thank you Father God for your timing has given this message even more
meaning than if I had published it over a week ago.
I declare to all that "We are of good cheer.!" To say God's words is giving God thanks! To say "I am of good cheer!" is giving God thanks. Change your words and this will also give God thanks as he looks down upon you doing what Jesus asked of us.
