If the Word of God is in your visual paths of the day, you can not miss it. In other words if God's Word is placed strategically in those places you visit during the day, you can not miss it or forget it. You will not forget to meditate on it because you keep seeing it all day. You are forcing your circumstances to include God's Word. So take 10 index cards, yes 10, and write this weeks scripture on each one. If you want your children to learn how to meditate on God's Word, help them to also make 10 index cards.
10 cards for:
- kitchen
- bathroom
- nightstand
- television
- telephone
- purse
- car
- computer or work
- pocket - if you are outside often
- door that you use the most often in your house
You are also placing God's Word, his powerful words, in your house, your car and all over your life. God knows you are serious now. You can count on these words to start blessings in these areas also, an added benefit.
Show God you are serious. Show Him that you want to seek Him and learn his Word. Just do it for a few weeks, and let's see the results. By doing this and actively reading and meditating on these cards, you will find yourself knowing verses to use in life. You will not memorize it, you will know it in your heart. Watch and see!
Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
It's time to finish the verse. Write down the entire verse 11. We will now focus on God's desire to give us hope and a future. That is so very exciting. I hope you will get started immediately with this Can't Miss It Technique. It is going to bless us beyond measure as God watches us take His Word serious.
